RemoteScope – Software Deployment Demos

The following example is for the deployment of Adobe Reader 7 using Remotescope. With this example we suggest you create an MSI file because it is easier. However, the ISS (InstallShield) method is actually a 'shelled' MSI method - in other words… ISS will extract MSI files eventually; therefore we rather just use MSI files. But of course there are many ways to deploy software, if you found ISS, windows script, VB script or etc is easier to you then they will also work.

This is a step-by-step checklist for using RemoteScope to deploy the MSN Messenger program to Client systems. The procedure is substantially the same for installing any other product that uses the Microsoft Installer file MSIEXEC.EXE.
