Memory Errors
1. Press the ESCAPE key to return to the pull-down menu. Use the arrow keys to select MEMORY TESTS and press ENTER. You’ll see another pull-down menu. Press ENTER to start the BASE MEMORY tests. Micro-Scope will display a small box showing your system’s base memory.
2. Press ENTER to start Micro-Scope’s base memory test. Micro-Scope will keep cycling through the base memory test until you press ESCAPE. Allow the test to run until it shows at least one test pass has been completed. Press ESCAPE to exit the test.
3. Place cursor on EXTENDED MEMORY TEST and press ENTER, then place the cursor on ALL TESTS and press ENTER again. A box appears showing the START Address and END Address. The END Address will normally be the highest memory location detected by Micro-Scope, but this figure and the START Address can be changed to test only a portion of memory. Press ENTER again and the test will begin. The length of the test will depend on the speed of your system and the amount of memory installed, but 10-15 minutes is about average. Press ESCAPE to return to the MEMORY TESTS menu.
