MICRO 2000 A+ COURSE
The A+ qualification
is the internationally recognised standard for any PC technician.
The curriculum was
devised and is maintained by CompTIA - who are the central
body who developed the course and the Micro 2000 A+ Course
is CompTIA certified – which means that it not only
meets all the content requirements, but also is of a standard
that they have endorsed.
Although our A+ course
is a ‘distance learning’ course
it has been written
so that you are guided through the entire curriculum in a
very structured and easy to follow way, almost as though there
is someone
there with you throughout
the course.
It is NOT just a reference
manual full of information that you are expected to ‘memorise’
- is it written as through someone is explaining the subject
directly to you – and after each chapter, with
the use of ‘self-testing’, you know what you know
and what you don’t know! In this way you are your own
‘judge’ and can always ensure that you do not
go on to the next section until you are completely confident
of the last one.
It also has an extensive
glossary so that all the terms and acronyms are explained
– making sure that you are always able to find out what
something actually 'means’ instead of having
to guess!
From the enthusiast
feedback we get from our customers it is clear that the course
is very easy to follow and does not require vast amounts of
time or prior knowledge to do –
The course is suitable for
people of all levels,
- whether you are just starting out,
- whether you already have some knowledge,
- or whether you have been in the industry for years, and
just need to brush
- up for the exams
The A+ certification exams
are taken at locally (there are centres all over the world)
and consist of 2 exams;
- one on Hardware
- and one on Operating Systems
The Micro 2000 course materials
